Looking at each other, they saw all the differences that had come during their absence from each other.
You look good. He said, brushing her hair out of her face.
Likewise. Was her reply. And then came the silence
I missed you. She said, knowing it was both truth and lie.
I didnt think of you much
He said, pulling her into his arms. She was rigid, as if she was afraid of him.
Not that I forgot you, though. Who can forget those lips?
She looked at a button on his shirt, trying to will away the feelings.
Why are you doing this to me?
He cupped her face, watching a tear escaping from her eye.
Because there is no one I love, nor hate, more than you.
His arms moved down around her waist and then he kissed her, pulling her body close to his, almost as if he wanted to absorb her into himself.
